Hotel Titbits

Here you will find some necessary and helpful information concerning your stay in our hotel.

    
  • Our hotel is open 24-hours a day. We ask that you leave your hotel key at the front desk every time you leave the hotel. You can check-in anytime after 11 a.m. although your room may still have to be cleaned. If that is the case, we will provide space for your luggage until your room is ready. Checkout time is 11 a.m. on the day you depart. Payment can be made in Euros or with Visa, Master/Eurocards, Diners and American Express cards.

  • The Bar is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. On Friday and Saturday, the bar stays open till 3 a.m. The night porter can serve you with a drink after the bar is closed but you must then consume it in your room.

  • Although Amsterdam has so called coffee shops where you can buy and consume marijuana and hash, the use of these drugs in our restaurant-bar area is not permitted.

  • Your lodging includes a free hearty bacon and eggs breakfast with coffee or tea, breads and jams. If you don't want the eggs or beacon, let the servers know and they will bring you some cheese.

  • The restaurant is open from 10 in the morning till 11 at night. See the Restaurant page for our full menu.



 		 

  • Every room has a telephone. To activate the phone, you must put down a deposit at the front desk. You can then make calls world wide up to the amount you have deposited. Upon checkout, your balance of unused deposit will be returned to you. You can call other rooms in the hotel by dialling the room number followed by pressing star. The front desk can be reached by pressing the reception button on the phone. You can program your room phone to give you an automatic wake-up call or you can call the front desk and let our staff give you a wake-up call in the morning. Upon request, we can provide you with a clock radio, a shoeshine kit, or a suitcase rack.

  • If you want to book an excursion into the countryside, rent a bike, or take a canal tour, just let our staff know and we'll either book something for you or point you in the right direction.
